What We Offer
At Reframe Physiotherapy, we offer many different specialities of therapy:
Musculoskeletal
Musculoskeletal care involves the treatment of bones, soft tissue and joints issues. This can be from acute injuries or a gradual onset related to other influencing factors. Assessment through structured interviews and physical examination takes place to help confirm working hypotheses alongside clients expectations, a formulation of goals is then explored. Treatment is usually based on a mixture of rehabilitation, soft tissue mobilisation and education as the cornerstone. In some cases, injection therapy or adjunctive treatments are needed.
Vestibular/dizziness
Vestibular physiotherapy is a specialised type of therapy designed to help clients improve symptoms of imbalance and/or dizziness, particularly when caused by problems with the inner ear (the vestibular system). This is also often referred to as vertigo. The assessment involves eye movement testing, a balance and movement assessment, head and body positioning tests and a detailed history of symptoms and lifestyle. The aim of this therapy is to reduce the risk of falls and physical limitations caused by these often debilitating symptoms, so clients can continue living their lives to the fullest.
Neurological
Neuro physiotherapy involves specialist assessment and rehabilitation techniques aiming to support and empower clients with neurological conditions to regain independence. This involves in-depth consideration of current mobility, function, posture and the individualised wants and needs of each client. Treatment is always specific to each person and focuses around education, guidance, exercise and functional adaptation.
